Samsung X60 Reviews

Trusted Reviews has a review of the Samsung X60 and writes, “The Samsung X60 is a very good notebook, that’s undeniable. Despite not being as fast as competing products, unless you’re in the habit of running seriously hardware intensive applications, the X60 will be more than a match for anything you’re likely to throw at it. However, the battery life does concern me and I would have expected better from this machine. … Specification wise, you’re getting pretty much everything that you could want along with good design and a solid build quality. The screen is particularly good and at a push the X60 could even fulfill your gaming needs….I don’t think that the price is unreasonable for what’s on offer, but then I’ve come to expect good value for money from Samsung. Ultimately though, the poor battery life and to a far lesser extent the disappointing performance figures, rob the X60 of a recommendation.”

Pocket-lint has a review up of the Samsung X60 and writes, “It’s not only the screen that impresses as the use of the ATi Mobility Radeon X1400, which comes with 256MB of memory, packs a good enough punch for most multimedia tasks. … It’s hard not to be impressed with the Samsung X60. It’s a good machine at a great price and anyone looking to replace his or her desktop PC with a mainstream choice will like it. We managed to get over 3 hours from the battery, which means you can even get a decent mobile experience from it.”

IT Reviews has a review up of the Samsung X60 and writes, “Samsung has put a lot of thought into the keyboard of the X60. It’s a good size with keys that are responsive and comfortable to use, with the Shift, Caps Lock, Return, Backspace and Tab keys all suitable large. … This is a well-performing laptop with a good feature set, but the battery life is a bit below what you might expect from a notebook in this class.”
